Dr.
Arlene Ledesma Johnson graduated cum laude from The National University
of Health Sciences with a Doctorate in Chiropractic and a degree
in Biology. In addition, she received a degree in Physiology from
the University of Toronto and trained in acupuncture in Illinois.
Among the list of Dr. Johnson’s achievements are the Dean’s
List, Who’s Who Among Students and Universities, four scholarship
awards, and three “Athlete of the Year” awards.
Dr.
Johnson obtained her certification as a Qualified Medical Evaluator
for Worker’s Compensation and Certified Chiropractic Sports
Practitioner. She was also the treating chiropractor for the Los
Angeles Free Clinic and worked in a research study in Nuclear Medicine
at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Dr.
Johnson is a standing member of the American Chiropractic Board
of Sports Physicians, Industrial Medical Council, California Chiropractic
Association, West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, and is a Fellow
of the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture.
Currently, Dr. Johnson is training for an Olympic Triathlon in Kona
Hawaii to raise funds for the Leukemia
& Lymphoma Society. She has also competed in the LA. Marathon
and has summited Mt. Whitney.
